Da 25 anni, infatti, andando per mercatini delle pulci Jochen ha collezionato una serie di immagini di persone e luoghi insoliti.
Molte di queste foto, accomunate dall’assenza di informazioni sul fotografo e sul soggetto oltre che dalla posa sull’albero, sono state raccolte in un libro pubblicato da Hatje Cantz.
Jochen Raiß discovered the bizarre trend of women posing in trees from the 1920s to the 1950s.
Jochen spent 25 years going to the flea markets and collecting a series of images depicting women and unusual places.
Many of these photos sharing a lack of information about the photographer and the subject as well as the fact of posing in trees, and they have been collected in a book published by Hatje Cantz, titled Women in Trees.
